Dear Friends, Neighbors, and Valued Customers, After much reflection and with deep gratitude, we are announcing that Sunset Point Winery will officially close its doors at the end of business day on November 1, 2026. This decision was not made lightly. Sunset Point Winery has been a meaningful part of our lives, our family, and this community, and we are incredibly proud of the memories, friendships, and experiences that have grown here over the years. The primary reason for this closure is that we, as owners, are ready to focus on the next chapter in our lives. While saying goodbye to the winery is bittersweet, we do so with full hearts and lasting appreciation for everyone who has helped make Sunset Point Winery what it has become. To our loyal customers: thank you for choosing to spend your time with us, for sharing our wines with your friends and families, and for making Sunset Point Winery part of your celebrations, conversations, and everyday moments. Your support has meant more than we can adequately express. We are also sincerely grateful to the many local businesses and community organizations that supported us along the way, including the City of Stevens Point, the Craft Collective, the Wisconsin Winery Association, Rock Ridge Vineyard, and the many vendors, growers, suppliers, musicians, makers, and partners who helped us serve our guests and represent central Wisconsin with pride. Sunset Point Winery has always been about more than wine. It has been about gathering, connection, hospitality, and community. We are thankful for every tasting, every event, every bottle shared, and every person who became part of our story. Between now and November 1, 2026, we look forward to welcoming you, raising a glass together, and celebrating the many memories made at Sunset Point Winery. We hope you will stop in during our remaining months to visit, share a story, and help us close this chapter in the same spirit of friendship and community that has defined it from the beginning. July 2026 is our 11th Anniversary, and the 250th Anniversary of US Independence and we are celebrating all month with a deal on wine - buy any 2 bottles, get 2 bottles 50% off! Because of the unknown future, we are no longer selling Gift Cards. We encourage you to use any gift cards you may have as soon as possible. They may not be valid under new ownership. The Portage County Business Council Ambassator's Club helped us celebrate 10 years in business with a ribbon cutting for our newly built patio space. Sunset Point Winery is pleased to be one of those location stops.
